I was born and raised in a farming community in Central Montana. I received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Montana College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Montana. I earned my Certified Trust & Financial Advisor certification from the Institute of Certified Institute of Bankers and have over 24 years experience in the financial services industry.
In my prior career as a Trust Administrator in a major national bank Trust department, I worked with clients who worried about their daily finances such as balancing their checkbook, filing their yearly income taxes, understanding and paying their medical bills, working with the Social Security Administration and Medicare as well as many other concerns. Some of those seemingly simple tasks can be confusing and overwhelming to people resulting in unwanted worry and stress. At times, family members with good intentions are not able to provide assistance because they may not have enough time or may live too far away. Personal Financial Care LLC was formed to provide financial management expertise and support to clients and their families so they can have peace of mind about these common day to day worries.
As the owner of Personal Financial Care, I have served as a Conservator, Trustee, Personal Representative and Power of Attorney for many people across the State of Montana for over 13 years. My responsibilities include: selling clients’ cars and houses, working through differing opinions of beneficiaries, deciding when and if a client can apply for Medicaid, choosing health insurance plans for clients, arranging estate sales of personal property, making sure all bills get paid, serving as a VA Fiduciary, and many more.
